Is the beta really free?
Yes. Quill is free to use during beta testing. We’re asking for thoughtful feedback in exchange for early access.
What computer do I need?
Quill runs natively on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Detailed system requirements and installation instructions are included with your beta access.
What can Quill export right now?
The beta currently focuses on store-ready EPUB ebooks. Print formatting is part of the larger Quill vision, but testers should join based on the features available today.
Do I need formatting or design experience?
No. Quill is designed for authors who want a polished result without learning professional page-layout software.
Will my manuscript stay private?
Your manuscript is opened and worked on through the desktop application. The feedback form only sends the information or screenshot you choose to submit.
